Early Summer Perennials in Montana

IMG_2727 (1).jpg

These Iceland poppies were planted this year, but mostly everything else has been hanging out on this property for a while. New to me, so I am REALLY enjoying seeing things grow!

It is early summer and the gardens are progressing. They've been around for a while, but being my first spring and summer here, it is a learning experience. We moved in here last winter and meant to go home to NH, but COVID struck, so we are going nowhere for now. Seeing everything come up is great for a gardener and a wonderful hobby! I've added a lot of new plants, there are vegetables too, but the perennial plants that come up every year are finally starting to do their thing and they are photo worthy. So far we have lupine, dahlias, Asiatic lilies, a little bit of salvia, peonies that are just starting to be fabulous, daisies, hosta, columbine, delphinium, astilbe, roses and iris. Plus some other stuff that I don't know what. There is a lot of summer ahead of us so I will keep the pictures coming! Please enjoy this slide show.
