Rosaly’s Farmstand - Peterborough, NH

Mt Monadnock from Rosaly’s Farmstand, Peterborough, NH

Rosaly’s Farmstand offers beauty in all directions and in every season. The sprawling grounds feature magnificent views of Mt. Monadnock, making it a popular destination for local artists.

It's a classic fall day in New England with 65 degree temperatures and clear blue skies - what a gift! I should find something to do outdoors. Suddenly, it dawns on me -- I have not been to Rosaly's this year! How could this be? Today I shall go. And lucky for me, it is only 3 miles from home. I know it is early autumn, but there is beauty here in every season. Today I will capture some to share.

The charm of Rosaly’s Farmstand lies in its simplicity. What the stand lacks for in amenities is more than made up for in the 18 acres of pristine organic soil that grows over 120 varieties of organic vegetables plus berries, herbs, and an acre dedicated to pickable flowers.

Don't let the stand itself fool you. There are no bells and whistles here, they would just detract from the amazing flowers, fruits and vegetables around you. Once you get inside, nature's bounty awaits. Rosaly's has fresh seasonal produce picked daily from their own fields, plus veggies from surrounding farms as well as maple syrup, honey, a few cheeses and local breads. And more. Let's take a walk inside.

A visual treat! Local produce, blooms and seasonal items spill out of bushels and line the shelves. Fall is harvest season, go get yourself some!!

I'm pretty sure I know what interests me here, but first it's time to take a walk through the flower gardens. Yes, much has passed but there are a few flowers persevering, and much to behold.

Though fall is creeping in, a stroll through the flower garden at Rosaly’s reveals many blossoms still putting on a show!

After admiring the garden, I head back to the farm stand to make my purchases. I hope to post recipes soon which showcase this beautiful harvest! Be sure to check in, and thanks for following Ann.

I’ve got a bag full and then some. Most have been washed and dried, one last glamour shot before they hit the chopping block. Stay tuned for recipes featuring the veggies and fruits I selected from Rosaly’s Farmstand.
